We are a church that practices tithes and offerings.

Money is a funny thing in the Kingdom. Jesus sure did talk about it enough. And, we have all seen the abuses. It’s no wonder people get a little weird over money.

But, we believe that the tithe came at the time of Abraham and was carried through the law rather than initiated with Moses. Jesus said, “When you tithe…”. So, one could argue that the tithe carried on into the New Covenant.

We compel no one to give and really think that 10% should be just the starting point. This is a heart matter. We want to be radical in everything we do to advance God’s Kingdom on the earth, whether it is praying for the sick, casting out demons, raising dead people or simply giving. None of this should be done halfway. God deserves more than that. So, our position is that, yea, that tithe is real, but you really need to ask Holy Spirit what your personal involvement should be. We trust people’s ability to hear the LORD for themselves.
